Copper-bonded earthing rods
Copper-bonded steel earthing rods for Jaipur projects, with diameter, bonded layer, coupling, driven depth and connection inputs for enquiry.

A copper-bonded earthing rod is a solid steel rod with a bonded copper surface. It is a separate product family from a larger SIP or PIP chemical electrode filled with conductive compound.
3E Solutions supplies copper-bonded rods against the project schedule. Length, diameter, copper layer, thread or coupling and installation method need confirmation before price comparison.

The product image shows a full-length rod rather than a short sample.
Diameter, copper layer, end form and coupling are confirmed against the project requirement.
Technical view

Two copper-coloured rods can hide different steel cores, diameters, copper layers and end details. The enquiry should state each property that the project drawing or standard actually controls.
Rod coupling matters when the design uses driven sections. Thread form, coupler, driving head and tip need to belong to one compatible system rather than being collected on site.
The installation method follows the approved earthing design. A driven rod and an augered chemical pit are not automatically interchangeable, even when both connect to the same conductor network.
If conductive backfill is specified, the drawing needs to show placement and inspection access. Separate earthings still require at least 2 metres of clear spacing under the 3E site guidance.
Specification
Do not compare by length and price alone. The missing material and end details are often the part that changes the product.
Method
Confirm the rod and accessories as one system. The installation method and final test then close the selection loop.
Fix length, diameter, copper requirement and end form.
Confirm couplers, driving tools, clamps and conductor interface.
Follow the approved layout and keep separate earthings at least 2 metres apart.
Preserve the connection for inspection and record the installed resistance.
Questions from site and procurement teams
No. Copper-bonded normally describes a steel core with copper bonded to its surface. The project schedule should state the required construction.
They can be compared as earthing options only after duty, soil and installation method are understood. Their physical construction is different, so a price-only comparison is weak.
Supply is confirmed against the project schedule. Send the required length, diameter, copper layer and end or coupling details rather than assuming one standard rod.
Bring us the site details
Send the length, diameter, copper requirement, ends, couplers and conductor connection. We will check whether the offered rods describe the same construction.
